This funeral home and it's staff went above and beyond with their service. Doug was especially kind, patient and provided great guidance during this very difficult time. I am writing to thank you and to compliment you on your arrangement for services last Wednesday, and conducting the funeral for my Uncle Bill Bruegger. He was a fine fellow, and deserved this send off service. All the Bruegger family appreciated most sincerely the detailed planning and conduct of Uncle Bill’s funeral. You responded in a very timely way after he died to take possession of the remains in Rochester You helped me select the casket, vault, flowers, and other items associated with the funeral in a most professional way. Thank you for arranging for the military salute by all those men, and the flag ceremony. The casket flowers were beautiful, and the other flower arrangements also beautified the church. We had anticipated this funeral some time ago, which is why I sent you the funeral planning information. You prepared a fine obituary, placed it in the relevant newspapers, and delivered copies for our records. Thank you for the prayer shawl, the brass cross, the book for attendee signatures, and the cards for acknowledging attendees to the church funeral. Uncle Bill would be the first to acknowledge the excellence of these arrangements. If I understood you correctly, the tombstone engraving will be performed in the spring, and you have made arrangement for that as well. I am sure this will not be the last of the funerals for the Bruegger family at the Abbott Funeral Home and Crematory. Please pass on to your other men assisting in this funeral our sincere gratitude for the beautiful service and burial ceremony.
