Sandra "Sandy" L. (Fabian) Adams

April 8, 1956 ~ January 12, 2019 (age 62)

Sandy L. Adams, 62, lifelong resident of Winona, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at her home after a 10-yr. battle with cancer. She was born on April 8, 1956 in Winona to Ronald and Joan (Henderson) Fabian. She graduated from Winona High School in 1974. She worked as a hair stylist at the Parlor Den, Regis Salon and Fine Lines. Sandy married the love of her life, Duane Frank Adams on June 27, 1987.

Sandy was an active member of Central Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School for 17 years, was a member of the church council, served as President and Vice President of the CLCW and was a Hannah Circle member.

Sandy was a very religious person. She loved everyone and loved to shop- go out to eat, sit and drink coffee and chat with everyone. Sandy loved her family very much. Every gathering she attended, she always would say before she got there “We better have party cake.”

Sandy was always the first one to a party and the last one to go home. Sandy loved her life. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Duane (2013), sister Christy, sister-in-law Kathy Fabian, nephew Joey Rostad, brother-in-law Kenny Rostad and great-nephew Ethan Fabian. She is survived by her parents Ron and Joan, brothers Dennis (Debbie), Kent (Debbie), Tom, all of Winona; sister Debra Fabian (fiancé Steve Waldee) of St. Charles; children Shannon Mosley and Eric Adams; grandchildren Abigail, Brayden and Kayla; nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Fawcett Junker Funeral Home, Winona. Funeral service will be on Saturday, January 18, 2019 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Central Lutheran Church. Rev. Michael Short will officiate. Casket bearers will be Tyler Fabian, Travis Fabian, Tanner Fabian, Brittany Chamley, Jason Brommerich and Eric Adams. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
