Marilyn A. (Luegge) Hansen, 87 of Winona, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Winona Health Hospital, Winona. She was born Faribault County, MN, on November 24, 1930, the daughter of Elmer G. and Ruth (Davis) Luegge.
Marilyn earned a bachelor and masters degree in education from Winona State College. She then taught elementary school in Lewiston, MN, for over 20 years.
She was a member of Central Lutheran Church, Winona, MN. Marilyn enjoyed golf and was a passionate bridge player for numerous years.
Marilyn is survived by a son, Charles (Erin) of Byron, MN; a daughter, Leanne Hansen and husband Phil Davis of Bloomington, MN; five grandchildren, Kathryn (Ryan) Badger, Courtney (Kyle) Millar, Andrea (Jan) Mestakovi, Theresa (Joe) Mattson, and Leah (Aaron) Bailey as well as nine great grandchildren.
Twin brothers survive, Keith (Linda) Luegge, (Sheridan, WY) and Neil (Kathleen) Luegge (Duluth, MN).
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, and grandson Stephen Poljack.
Memorial services celebrating Marilyn’s life will be 12 p.m. Thursday, December 28, with visitation one hour before at Central Lutheran Church, Winona. Interment, at a later date, will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Winnebago, MN.
