Duane W. Schoepp, 84 of Winona, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at his home following an illness.
Duane William was born May 24, 1934, near Cream, WI to William and Maude (Falkenberg) Schoepp. He graduated from Winona Senior High School. On June 21, 1969, he married Dianne E. Duellman at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Winona. He was employed for the City of Winona for many years and retired as the survey crew chief in the engineering department. He also owned and operated Blackhawk Supply Co., Winona. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Winona.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne; a son, Andrew Schoepp; brothers and sisters-in-law: Merlin (Dorothy) Duellman, Richard (Valerie) Duellman, Kenneth (Hisako) Duellman, and Therese (Charles) Bena; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Violet Ruff.
Funeral Mass will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Winona with Reverend Father Jason Kern officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Winona.
Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m., Monday, May 13, at Fawcett Junker Funeral Home, Winona and beginning at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Visitation Commons of the church. Vigil prayers will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
