David R. Wieczorek, 54, of rural Fountain City, WI, passed away at his home in Bluff Siding, WI on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Dave was born September 17, 1963 to Eva F. Case and Leonard L. Wieczorek. On January 19, 1980, Dave met Margaret Ann Riska. They spent 37 wonderful years together, now they’re reunited in heaven.
Dave worked for Renk Trucking for numerous years until he went to work for CD Corporation for over a decade as a diesel mechanic.
Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening , farming. You could always find him doing something. He was a die-hard Packer fan and he loved his Pink Floyd. His family was very important to him, he always made everyone feel welcome in his home. His daughter was his pride and joy and his side kick they were always together getting into something. He cherished his grandkids, his world revolved around them, with his two life-long best friends Tater Borzyskowski and Jimmy Hemmelman.
Dave is survived by his daughter Shelly (Mark Paetzel) Riska and his grandkids Alex Paetzel, Destiny Paetzel, Keegan Paetzel of Winona, MN. His son Ian Graves of Kansas; his step dad Arlo Case, Fountain City; brothers John Wieczorek, Arcadia, WI, Mike (Gidget) Wieczorek, Stockton, MN, Bill (Lavonne Selden) Wieczorek, Winona, MN; one sister Cindy Bauer, Bemidji; and a brother Russ (Katrina) Case. Also many uncles, aunts and numerous nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his love of his life Margaret; his mom Eva; dad Lenny and still born sister Mary.
Family and friends are invited to George’s Lounge, Bluff Siding, WI to party with Dave, 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017.
