Carole J. Pehler-Forest, 83 of Winona, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at her home, peacefully with husband and family at her side.
Carole Jeane was born September 24, 1935, in Winona, MN to George and Grayce (Wheeler) Cameron. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1954.
She was formerly married to John Pehler. On May 1, 1999, she married David P. Forest in Winona. For 22 years, she was employed at Randall Foods, Winona.
Carole was a member of Central Lutheran Church, Winona; Rivertown Red Hatters; S.O.F.A and a volunteer at Winona Health.
She is survived by her husband David, Winona; eight children: David J. Pehler and friend Deb, Plainview, MN; Michael (Bonnie) Pehler, Winona; Kent (Jelayne) Pehler, Winona; Matthew (Heike) Pehler, Port St. Lucie, FL; Christopher (Lisa) Pehler, Anoka, MN; Jamie (Kendra) Pehler, Rushford, MN; Linda (Richard) Beyers, Red Wing, MN; and Mary (Robert) Sunday, Sparta, WI; 23 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and Max is on his way; step children: Kendra (Carl) Awe, Eleva, WI; Kirk Forest, Anchorage, AK; and Knute Forest, Eau Claire, WI; three step grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Cindy) Cameron, Florida; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step Dad; step son Kelly Forest.
Services for Carole will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2018, at Central Lutheran Church, Winona with Rev. Mike Zaske officiating. Entombment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Winona.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Fawcett Junker Funeral Home, Winona, MN and Monday one hour prior to the service at the church.
